Charlie is a dynamic tenor with skills that run the gamut of the tenor repertoire.  He has performed as a soloist with the Indianapolis Symphony on numerous occasions and at many churches in the Indianapolis area.  Performances include the world premiere performance of Cirque de la Symphonie goes Broadway! under the baton of Jack Everly and has performed as a cast member of A Yuletide Celebration with the Indianapolis Symphony orchestra in 2015, 2016, 2017, and will again perform in 2018.  Charlie made his professional opera debut, in 2017,  with the Indianapolis Opera’s production of Man of La Mancha, portraying the character of Juan.

Charlie has performed as an oratorio soloist and his  repertoire includes St Nicolas Cantata (Britten), Obidiah (Elijah, Mendelssohn), The Swan (Carmina Burana, Orff), The Messiah (Handel), The Crucifixion (Stainer), tenor soloist (Mozart’s Requiem), Uriel (The Creation, Haydn).  He has also recently participated in theater productions in the Indianapolis area, which include productions with the Fringe Fest and Hendricks Civic Theater

Charlie holds a bachelor’s degree in voice performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. He teaches private voice lessons at Center Grove High School and is the tenor section leader for All Souls Unitarian Church.
